Recordbase sign in issue
A Recordbase service disruption occurred at approximately 2:00am NZT on 24 September, resulting in users being unable to start new sessions or sign in to Recordbase. Existing sessions were not impacted.
Our team became aware of the issue at 7:40am and began investigating immediately. Service was restored at 8:20am NZT, and sign-in functionality is now operating normally.
Our investigation is continuing. The issue began shortly after a scheduled application service slot swap, and we are reviewing the behaviour of the application service during that process. We also received notification from Microsoft Azure of an unplanned App Service outage in our region around the same time and are assessing whether that event may have contributed to the disruption.
We apologise for the impact this had on our users. We are continuing to investigate the root cause and will provide a further update once we have a clearer understanding of the contributing factors.

Error using client search
On 14/09/2026, a system update introduced a compatibility issue between a database change and the current application version. This resulted in an unexpected error when using client search.
The issue occurred because part of a planned upgrade was released ahead of the main application update, which is scheduled for 16/09/2026. While this approach was intended to reduce downtime during the upcoming release, an unforeseen compatibility problem caused the search error.
To restore service, all affected database changes were rolled back. A permanent fix will be applied during the scheduled 26.1 release window on 16/09/2026, when the corresponding application updates are deployed.
We apologise for the disruption and are reviewing the circumstances that led to this issue so we can reduce the likelihood of similar problems in future.

Incident Categories not saving

The issue with impacting Incident categories has now been resolved. These are now saving correctly when you add or edit incident records.
The team has identified the part of Recordbase that was affected by this issue and made a small targeted change to ensure that records are correctly saving.

Recordbase unavailable due to an Azure issue.
Recordbase experienced a service disruption following a failure with the Microsoft Azure cloud service. The Recordbase solution is deployed within Azure, Recordbase customers access the system via Azure services. Websites and other internet services around the world were also impacted. The Wild Bamboo support team responded to a high volume of support inquiries throughout the day.
