Recordbase Version 5.4 goes live!
The latest version of Wild Bamboo’s Recordbase has gone live. The Wild Bamboo team released Recordbase version 5.4 application in mid-March following on from another upgrade to the system earlier this year. The latest release provides both improved usability and increased functionality, addressing some important areas for development that were highlighted by Wild Bamboo’s customers. The key components of the upgrade are:
- the provision of new activity templates
- improved rollback and modify referrals
- improved tracking modified notes
- a new elite report called Activity Data Quality.

Wild Bamboo welcome new Chief Executive
Alan joined us after seven years as the chief information officer at Waikato District Health Board (WDHB). Alan has a background in social work and public policy in addition to more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. Alan is passionate about the role of information in strategic decision making and is looking forward to applying his wealth of experience to Wild Bamboo.
Recordbase tablet-ready in 2012
Recordbase has been tested and can be used on Internet Explorer (7.0, 8.0 and 9.0), Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox. The upgraded testing will allow your organisation to begin to use Recordbase on devices such as iPad, and some Android tablets and for your staff to capture information on a multitude of different operating environments.
New WHOQOL Outcome Tool reports available
Recordbase currently supports a number of outcome tools and can generated reports based on results captured in these outcome tools. Wild Bamboo have worked to produce the ability to not only capture information in the WHOQOL outcome tool form but to provide reporting based on this information. To have access to the WHOQOL outcome tool please let us know and we will configure your implementation to turn on this functionality.
