Alan Grainer 
Chief Executive

 

 

Alan joins Wild Bamboo after seven years as chief information officer at Waikato District Health Board (WDHB). Alan has a background in social work and public policy in addition to more than 20 years’ experience in the IT industry.

Born in the UK, Alan immigrated to the Hawke’s Bay when he was nine, and spent the 20 years prior to his move to Waikato DHB in Wellington.

 

 

 

Mark heads the Infrastructure team. Mark has an extensive career in IT infrastructure, having worked around the globe with companies such as Unisys. Mark’s last role was with EDS, one of the world’s largest IT services companies.

Jo Scothern
Senior application developer / business intelligence specialist

 

Jo has a background in commercial software development and is highly skilled in the latest development technologies including .Net, Web 2.0, AJAX, OLAP. Jo provides application architecture oversight and direction to the application development team as well as providing specialist Business Intelligence (BI) design services for the Wild Bamboo customer base.

 

 

 

Kelsey is our customer relationship champion.  With nine years’ experience in customer liaison and account management, Kelsey brings a wealth of knowledge about the design and delivery of tailored business solutions. Prior to joining Wild Bamboo, Kelsey worked for international Microsoft Excel experts, AbleOwl,  where she worked on customer training programmes and international business development.

Jo Telfer
Senior business analyst, project manager

 

Jo works to identify business requirements and consistently delivering high-quality client services. Her experience in sales and marketing and IT roles allows her to work across a diverse range of applications. Jo also has responsibilities around project management, documentation and functional testing.

 

 

 

Jennifer utilises her valuable business analyst skill set to identify customer requirements and ensure that these are delivered as the ultimate solution. Jennifer is also a trained and certified project manager who implements robust project management methodologies to ensure all Wild Bamboo software is delivered on time and within budget.

Shane Watts
Software development manager

 

 

Shane joins the Wild Bamboo team as a senior business analyst working with customers to identify their information management and reporting needs and ensuring that the implementation of Recordbase works for their business. Shane has an extensive background in software development including  customer engagement, business analysis, developing code, testing,  delivery of software and support services for Oracle and Microsoft technologies.

 

 

 

Peter works collaboratively with customers as a project manager and skilled business analyst to guarantee smooth project implementation with solid results every time. He also has specialist technical expertise ensuring the design and development of Recordbase business intelligence is second to none. He has a wealth of experience in the IT sector, having spent 13 years with Gen-i and five years with Waikato DHB.

Wenyi Lin

WenYi joined the team after graduating from Waikato University. WenYi's software development skills are focused on Recordbase, as well as supporting other aspects of Wild Bamboo's business.

 

 

 

Bhanupriya's software development skills are put to great use in the team and are focused on enhancing and supporting the Recordbase product range. Bhanu has had a number of software roles prior to immigrating to New Zealand from her homeland of India.

Sean Daly
Software developer

 

Sean has a wealth of software application, design and analytical knowledge. He provides analysis, interface design and software development along with expert advice within the senior Recordbase development team. Sean has over 17 years’ experience in development roles in both NZ and the UK, using Microsoft .NET technologies to create websites and Windows desktop solutions.

 

 

 

Joshua holds a bachelor's degree in computer science. Prior to joining Wild Bamboo, he developed Accpac products for companies around the world, and was recently the lead developer on a web-based fuel distribution management application. With a strong interest in seamless application testing, Josh is continually monitoring new technologies and trends that naturally flow into his everyday work developing Recordbase and Recordbase Elite.

Gavin Ma

Gavin has a degree in e-commerce technology. He is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and a Certified Technology Specialist in SharePoint Configuration. Gavin has developed a series of intranets, and focuses on developing SharePoint solutions, such as project management and e-form systems.

     

Sharon is a software tester for Recordbase, ensuring the user experience is as streamlined and bug-free as possible. Sharon brings a wealth of knowledge to her role having joined us from Hewlett Packard where she was previously a project server engineer.

Eric Otaka
Service desk technician

 

Eric is the 'go-to guy' and troubleshooter. He brings 10 years of IT experience within such fields as ISP, network, and creativity software support to the team. Most recently, Eric was the electronic media coordinator for the Waikato Times.

 

 

 

Glen joined our team from EDS NZ, one of New Zealand’s largest IT service providers where he worked with a number of prestigious accounts such as Fonterra, Telecom and Land Information New Zealand providing IT Infrastructure Services.

Pieter Lootsma
Technical application support

 

Pieter provides technical support to the Wild Bamboo development team and clients. He is a Microsoft Office guru and has, in previous roles, travelled throughout the Commonwealth to share his knowledge. He has developed many solutions supporting Microsoft Office, utilising technologies such as .NET, VSTO, SQL and VBA.

 

 

 

Mark makes use of his versatile and extensive IT hardware, software and development skills within the Service Desk team. Prior to joining the team Mark worked for four years as a process automation analyst for Westpac Card Operations. Mark is a Microsoft Certified master instructor having also worked as an IT trainer for Ames Training Centre.

James McNulty
Strategic sales consultant 


 

James provides strategic sales advice ensuring customers are satisfied with great products and services. With over 10 years’ experience in sales, he has worked across a range of corporate sectors including technology, consumer goods and chemicals. More recently, he worked for Vodafone focusing on corporate communication systems, with responsibility for the regional sales acquisition strategy and execution.

     

Art is the team's application support analyst. He is responsible for delivering Recordbase training and supporting the wider Wild Bamboo team. He has more than 20 years' experience including team leader roles with Hewlett Packard, IBM and Electronic Data Systems working on large accounts such as Fonterra and Telecom.

Jaye is one of our go-to service desk technicians. Prior to joining the team, he worked for a local PC repair company as a technician. He has also worked for Telecom.
