About Wild Bamboo
Wild Bamboo is part of the WISE Group, a family of charitable non-government organisations operating in the mental health sector.
We've spent 20 years working to help improve the lives of people who experience mental illness in New Zealand. During this time we've developed tools to support our work and service planning, and to provide the information we need to report on our contractual requirements.
When the new PRIMHD requirements were introduced on 1 July 2008, we realised that there were many other organisations like us who would find our solutions helpful.
We wanted to share our expertise and knowledge by providing an easy to use web-based health record programme that is PRIMHD compliant. And, we wanted to make sure it wouldn't cost the earth.
So we created Wild Bamboo to help bring these tools to you. Wild Bamboo is by the sector, for the sector. We're not a big corporate company, we're a charitable non-government organisation ourselves.
Our dream is to enrich health organisation performance through world-leading information systems. We believe in creating fresh possibilities and services for the wellbeing of people, organisations and communities, and that by working as partners we can all benefit from a proven, cost-effective solution.
